Lilliana (pronounced Lilly-Ahnnah) is a Huariza - half llama, half alpaca, DOB Summer 2006. Her story is as wacky as she is!! On her birthday my friend who was her mother's caretaker called and said "Pixie had a baby" "No way" I said. "Pixie wasn't pregnant" "Oh yes she was and you have a beautiful little alpaca-looking girl" Oh, no!!! Then I remembered my husband saying that the boys had gotten in with the young girls. I had dismissed the problem because the girls were so young - they could never be mothers. Wrong! So Lilliana was named the most beautiful name I could think of because she carries such a genetic burden - half llama, half alpaca ( her dad is a lovely black alpaca). She is very spirited and full of personality- she doesn't care if she has "mixed" heritage. She thinks she's a queen - and acts like it. She's tall and pushy with a very nice (needless to say) fleece with a bit too much guard hair for an alpaca. She will keep you amused and engaged trying to outwit her.
